Celebrating Jubilee 2025 with DESTA: Unity of Faith, Art and Tradition
16 novembre 2023

On July 20, 2023 DESTA became the official licensee of the Jubilee 2025 logo. This milestone not only recognizes our dedication to sacred art and Italian craftsmanship but also provides a unique opportunity to actively participate in a historic and spiritual event in the life of the Catholic Church.

Jubilee 2025, as described on the official site, is an occasion to renew faith and strengthen the Christian community. The opening of the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica marks the beginning of a year of grace, prayer, and reflection. This event, rooted in Christian tradition, is a time for remission of sins and reconciliation, as expressed in Luke 15:11-32, The parable of the prodigal son.

The Jubilee 2025 logo, which Desta is authorized to use, symbolizes the continuity of faith and the connection between past, present, and future. The logo design incorporates elements that reflect the spirituality, history and mission of the Church, inviting the faithful around the world to participate in this time of celebration and renewal.

DESTA, with its long history in Italian craftsmanship, is proud to contribute to this important event in the life of the Church through the union of tradition, art and faith. Every creation bearing the DESTA invites reflection on the profound Christian heritage and inspires the renewal of spiritual commitment. We draw inspiration from Christ's words in Matthew 16:24, "Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me", thus guiding the way towards a deeper and more meaningful faith.

In response to this honor, DESTA has dedicated a special collection of sacred articles reflecting the sanctity of the event. Each piece, from the chasuble to the priest stole, from the dalmatic to the deacon stole, and from the cope to the tristole, is crafted with care and dedication, reflecting the fusion of faith, art and Italian tradition. These articles are not just objects of worship, but also symbols of a spiritual journey uniting the faithful in the sign of the Jubilee.

Our collection also includes items such as mitres, lectern covers, tapestries and mass sets, as well as items dedicated to the sacraments like baptismal bibs, pulpit fall, chalice, ciborium, paten, ring, bracelets, rosaries and necklaces,, all created with the same passion and dedication.

We conclude with a thought from John 15:5, "I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing". This Gospel passage reminds us of the importance of remaining rooted in faith, especially during the Jubilee 2025.
